Acuity At Home

This site is for grades 3-12.  Younger children will not have a logon.  Your child's teacher may assign extra practice in math, science, reading - language arts or social studies that can be completed at home on the Internet.  This extra practice is usually assigned based on your child's performance on a practice test they took at school.  This practice relates to content that will be encountered on the WESTEST 2 test that your child will take in May.  This site is a great way to practice for this test.  If your child logs in and has no assignments, contact their teacher and ask for an assignment.  The username is your child's nine digit lunch number (WVEIS number).  The password should be known by them, but you can contact Mr. Graham ( or your child's teacher for the logon details.

IXL - Math Practice

Please check out this website that helps children practice math at home.  There are many features that are free and beneficial for your child as they practice math that is correlated with state standards.  If you like the site, you can subscribe to it for $10/month - $80/year and get even more features with your subscription.

BrainPop  and BrainPop Jr.

Your child has a year long subscription to a fantastic educational website called BrainPop.  Children can watch educational movies with a cartoon boy, Tim, and his robot friend, Mobi.  The movies cover topics including math and science to grammar and history as well as music and art!  This is truly a great site for your kids to safely explore educational topics.  Brainpop is for grades 3 and up.  BrainpopJr is designed for grades K-3.
